One man drugged her; one man beat her,and one man was just along for the drive. Together the three men schemed to hide her body, looking for a ditch to dispose of her body. Two of the men carried her out to a running vehicle where  the third accomplis waited. Kyla's life could have and would have been saved had just one man attempted to call 911; but no one did. They drove along Consumers drive stopping for $5.00 of gasoline while Kyla was in the backseat barely alive. At approximately 6:30 pm Monday January 3rd, 2005 Kyla's body was dumped in front of garbage containers on the ramp leading to a parking lot. The cold dark pavement became her resting place, where she died surrounded by residence of an apartment building; people who cared for her, until 911 arrived.

Kyla's case was not dealt with properly...no one arrested for her death. She still guides her mother in helping with a Murder caused by drugs and abuse.

Come show your support to remember a tragedy of a young teen, who's life ended much too soon. Bring a candle to help brighten a cold lonely night; a night she was left to die. For her mother Sarah; it's as though her body still lies on the cold pavement while she waits for answers of her daughter's death. She is asking  that all who knew Kyla and for her family and friends to come together on this 5th year.
