PETITION

TO The Legislative Assembly of Ontario:

WHEREAS [We are citizens who live in a society of increasingly high death rates due to public medical negligence. The numbers of Good Samaritans are declining as generations pass on. There is no protection for those requiring Emergency Medical assistance while out in the public. We need to protect the public itself by passing a law that makes 911 an act of duty for the by-stander or those who advertently commit an act of omission violating a positive duty. Causing the death of a person by a rash or negligent act not mounting to culpable homicide, should be punishable with a fine and imprisonment of two years. A person innocent of the offence is innocent if they perform an act of good faith. This would give greater protection and safety to persons who are victims of abuse, and negligence. This law would help preserve and maintain public health and safety.

WE the undersigned petition the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as follows: -

PETITION

TO The Legislative Assembly of Ontario: -

WHEREAS [We the undersigned are asking the legislative Assembly of Ontario; to recommend to the labor board extended time off work when a parent loses a child in a tragedy or unexpectedly. The present 3 to 5 days allotted with pay is not enough time. A grieving parent cannot concentrate on duties and usually suspended from their only source of income due to their loss. Many accidents or disruptions occur due to grief and one cannot control the consumption of the suddenness of their loss. If a parent can take a year to bond with a new baby, respectfully a grieving parent should  be allowed the same to grieve over their lost child. Health and safety issues arise when one is not fit, and is mentally incapable of performing their duties. We ask that a parent has the option of returning to work, with pay for up to a full year, so they can start healing and get back into society. ]

WE the undersigned petition the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as follows: -
